Weather in Madagascar
Essentially Madagascar has two seasons. The hot rainy season is between the months of November and April. The cooler dry season is between the months of May and October. Based on weather, the best months to visit Madagascar are September and October as it is still warm and the lemurs are out and about and more active. Regardless we tour year round so whatever your schedule is we can accommodate it. Keep in mind that some national parks are not operating during the rainy season (January to March).

How to budget
Madagascar is one of the world's cheapest countries for travelers. Madagascar is comparable to Southeast Asian countries. Transportation, hotels and commodities are quite basic. Madagascar is a very cash based country while dealing with transactions. Of course you can settle a bill with your credit card for some services, however we strongly advise you to bring cash. When it comes to exchange rates, we can exchange as much cash as you want and the national rate so you can get the most bang for your buck.
